Inspection Certifications
Master-Certified Home Inspector #1341 by the American Institute of Inspectors. The "Master" designation comes after reaching extensive levels of experience and continuing education, from levels of "Associate", then "Certified", then "Senior", and finally "Master". Also additional specific training and certifications including Structural Pests & Dry Rot, Commercial Facilities, Manufactured Housing, and Electrical Outlet Efficiency Testing, taken from professional instructors from throughout the West, with all training certified by the American Institute of Inspectors.
Continuing Education
As a professional, we are required to complete Continuing Education classes in order to maintain our licenses. Doug also completes frequent (usually monthly) Continuing Education seminars and classes to meet the States of Oregon and Washington's strict requirements, as well as maintaining Master-Certified Membership in the American Institute of Inspectors association. For the "Master" designation, a minimum of 36 credit hours per year of continuing education has to be completed, along with a minimum of four years experience. Doug has actually completed over 75 credit hours per year average for the past few years, staying abreast of the latest changes in the inspection and construction industries.
